I was not sure what to expect when we stopped in - Authentic Mexican food, or good old Tex-Mex. On seeing the menu, I was excited to see the flavors of Mexico on the menu.....Al Pastor, Tripas, Aguachilies, Arracheta, Birria, etc.....But, the food was just disappointing. The salsa served with the meal was surprisingly bland. But, hey, its just the salsa.....I got three tacos - Tripas, Birria, and Arracheta. The tripas were not good. Flavorless and rubbery. Would’ve gotten tipped more then the percentage they are already taking if they didn’t have to be greedy… the manager was amazing but his staff obviously is acting shady.. won’t come back if this is how ungrateful they are.. giving him the benefit of the doubt but I’m sure his staff talked to him
The food was delicious, the place was very nice, the staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was relaxed perhaps because it was early, when I am in Amarillo again I will give myself the pleasure of visiting it again
