In general, I enjoy Chicken Express and have had great experiences—especially at the Tascosa Road location. Unfortunately, the last two visits to the Coulter location have been really disappointing.
The chicken was cold, greasy, and clearly had been sitting out for a long time. It tasted old and unappetizing. The mac and cheese, which used to be a decent side, was so bad both times we didn’t even eat it. For a $58 family meal, this is unacceptable.
This location is rarely busy, so there’s really no excuse for serving food that tastes like leftovers. From now on, I’ll gladly drive a little farther to the Tascosa Road location where the quality is consistently better.
Coulter location—either get it together or shut it down. Customers deserve better than this.

They took forever to take my order then forever to give me my order just for me to get home and find my order was wrong! Then I called and she said I had to come back to get the missing items now because that's their rule! Poor customer service all the way around

Cold food. Charged for sauce. Free water cup but they charge if you want ice. Oh, and what looks like a half eaten cookie in the box!

AVOID THIS LOCATION!! I wish I could give zero stars. I should've left when I saw people bailing out of the drive-thru line before I got to the window. Waited 30 MINUTES for fish meal. Sides were wrong, no hush puppies were in the box... when I asked about it they told me it would be another 3 Minutes. SERIOUSLY???? I would've left also, but I had already paid. The potatoes were AWFUL!! Grainy, watered down mush... GROSS! Rachel at the window looked high as a kite. In the mean time people are bailing out of the line behind me. This place has to be losing a crap ton of money with all the people leaving before getting their food due to the wait. It is AWFUL!! Do NOT go there.
