James did a great job taking care of us! He served up some delicious crab legs and fried shrimp. It was all very tasty and we really enjoyed it! If you are near Amarillo it's worth the stop! Outstanding seafood!!

I had a fantastic experience at this seafood restaurant! The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable from the moment we walked in. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. As for the food, each dish was a delight; the seafood was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the grilled calamari, which was bursting with flavor, and the butter garlic shrimp, a perfect balance of rich and savory. the price is ridiculous! don’t get me wrong the quality was nice but the food was not cleaned properly which doesn’t deserve a $60 price point. I ordered 1 pound of snow crab legs, 1 pound of crawfish, 1 corn, 1 potato, and 1 sausage. At Hook&Reel they give you more corn, and potatoes for the price of 1, the crawfish wasn’t cleaned properly and still had dirt on them which left a grainy and nasty taste in my mouth. I live an 1hr and 30min away so i was really disappointed once i got home

We were passing by from Corpus Christi & looked up good seafood in Armarillo , it brought up cracking crab . So we gave it a try . My wife got a shrimp boil & I got fried catfish & added 3 shrimp & we loved it . are waitress Janelle was very helpful and very good. We are very pleased with our food service and everything else in it if we’re ever in the area, we will be back.
Not for me. Went in on a Thursday around 5:30. No customers were in there. We had to use the restroom at orange leaf, since there was a sign on the door that said no public restrooms don't ask. We still went in, sat down, and the menu said $65 for any seafood boil. To me that's a little high considering other places. We left.

Really great Crab shack in the Amarillo, Texas area!
We stopped by here for lunch in the middle of a road trip from Dallas to Colorado and it was my first time in Crackin' crab. This chain location is not very crowded and has very good prices for their seafood. The service was quick and food was served fast 🦀

Got live crawfish to go with their 11.99 a pound special on a Friday. I ordered over the phone. The order included one dressing (corn, potato, sausage) for the entire bag, though they were large. I got the crackin sauce at hot level, which is really tasty. Takeout service was friendly and the order was ready when expected. I would go back for dine in or takeout.
