Good food overall. Reasonable prices. Atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Not too loud. Some of the best onion rings and potato salad around.

After 100+ great meals, these last 2 have been very disappointing. Much smaller portions, burnt okra and hush puppies, chicken that was so thin it had the consistency of shoe leather, and toast that I’m certain was toasted well over an hour before I got it. It’ll be awhile before I go back. On the plus side, the staff is always super nice and accommodating.

Stopped here for a BBQ meal on a road trip. I could tell just by walking in that this place was going to be great! The aroma of smoked meats was just enchanting.

The portions were generous. The service was spot on and attentive. The BBQ was sooo good. My wife had the ribs. Falling off the bone, flavorful, and tender. I had the pulled pork and the brisket. It just melted in my mouth.

Dyer’s serves their sauce on the side. It was just the right combo of sweet and bite. Not too thick. Excellent.

While the main course was awesome, the sides were excellent. The potato salad had great flavor and tang. The beans were not sweet but just the right flavor to complement the meats. The cole slaw was ok. The apricot sauce was tremendous. It tasted like it was homemade.

There were a couple of glitches. Red wine just should not be chilled. The onion rings were a touch cool.

But don’t let that dissuade you. This place is awesome!

Favorite place! I could eat here everyday, just so good. And the sides are big and don't disappoint.

We always enjoy Dyer's they were out of a few foods tonight but everything was delicious. Can't go wrong with their combination plate, the fried catfish dinner, or the Monterey Chicken!
