Was kinda astonished about the trust factor of this establishment. Everything is self serve. From picking out your meal to self pay. I grabbed a ahi teriyaki tuna bowl. It was loaded with Brussels, zucchini and tuna that was cooked just right. Normally I like my tuna raw or pretty rare. But for the home cooked aspect of it all? The sauce wasn’t to heavy but very flavorful! Being a foodie type person I hold a high standard on places I like to eat. I also grabbed some fresh squeezed cucumber pineapple juice. Very refreshing. Definitely a healthier choice when you want something quick and fast during lunch on a work day. Definitely will be coming back! 2thumbs way the f up!

I over the last three years have become super sensitive to a lot of different foods. Because of this I have had pretty much nowhere to eat unless I made it at home. I also have auto immune/ inflammatory issues and I ate the entire meal with no bloating, no indigestion, no upset stomach. I love going to places like this and seeing that other people in Texas care about eating healthy too. We’ve been taken over by fried food! I really enjoyed my meal and the owner was so nice. I will be back!

this is one of my favorite places in amarillo! sometimes you get tired of everything other food option (bc it’s alll the same), tired of spending tooo much money to feel like a over carb’d slug. if i don’t preorder online, i love that it’s so easy stopping in and grabbing something out of the cooler, that i know is going to be delicious and good for me. from the broth and juices to the meatballs and goulash, it’s obvious they put a lot of thought and intent into the meals. if you’re looking for a change, want a healthier body, or just wanna try something new, this is where i send everyone. a healthy body starts in the kitchen and eightytwenty is the dream kitchen.
