Went here for my lunch break at 11:30am on a Friday and was taken care of so fast. I love the location by Tascosa and this place has the same great food. I got a $10 taco lunch plate and left very full!

Absolutely awesome, ate here 1st time the food was delicious had a goat quesadilla it was soo good. the server she was excellent made sure everything was just right. then the desert came the tres leches cake I've had it many places but this was best by far. love this place will return soon.

The food isn’t good, the atmosphere isn’t great either and the service the worse, literally I eat my food and the server didn’t come to my table to ask us if we need anything and also my wife needed more drink and the lady, i don’t know if is the owner, only talked to people who she knows, but that’s it, she didn’t ask us or other customers if everything was fine, sadly the worst customer service I ever experienced

Thought this was going to be amazing.However, our experience was far from satisfactory. The food was bland and unappetizing. To make it worse, the service was incredibly slow, even though the restaurant was empty. No seasoning on any food tasted watered down. Our waiter had two tables us and a party of 6 she spent only time at the bigger party even though we were their first. Just sad overall

I was on a crosscountry roadtrip and needed to fuel the long drive with breakfast. Our Airbnb host recommended this place and I am SO happy we went. The food was absolutely incredible and the El Tejavan staff were so kind. My jaw almost dropped to the floor after my first bite of chilaquiles here. El Tejavan serves the BEST chilaquiles I have ever tasted in my entire life. It was flavorful, filling and the tortillas were crisp…not soggy like many places serve it. I dream of the day I can eat the chilaquiles here again or find a place that makes it taste even as remotely as El Tejavan makes it.

Travelled all morning and wanted some Mexican food and let me just say … THIS SPOT WAS THE BEST DECISION ..after a long morning The queso birria tacos were phenomenal!! Service was great and fast . We def will stop again before going home to Austin
