Freddie's fish and grill family of the Fatcat

I'm from a small coastal town south of Houston, and this is by far some of the best fish I've tasted in a long time. Everything was delicious and the wait staff was friendly. Highly recommend.

Little hole in the Wall but the food was excellent well worth the drive off the freeway to enjoy some fish. They also had chicken tenders and shrimp and various other things

I had a 5 dollar catfish lunch special. The food was hot and fresh and good. You have to call ahead for take-out or you will be waiting for 15 minutes on your order. They do take credit or debit cards.

Why do we even have a long Johnson silvers with this ama,ingrown place in town. Yall need more promotions because my fish was beautiful and tasty hot and cold!

This cat fish spot deffinetly is a A1 location to stop and enjoy the light flaky tasteful cat fish not one bit of mis flavor in this great Texas staple CAT FISH IS THE STAR OF THE SHOW prices were great also the plate sizes were also awesome we chose to do the 16 piece and eat till we can't eat no more thank you Freddie's for feeding us new Mexicans some great fish

Freddies fish and grill has the best fried catfish ever.

I have tried 3 places in Amarillo. One was too salty, the other was my fav, then it became my second after Freddie's.
Every time I come to Amarillo, I make multiple stops to get my catfish fix. Matter of fact, I flew in on Wednesday and stopped by before visiting family. The fish tastes super fresh, with great texture. The sides are decent, but the fish is definitely the star.

I’ve been coming to this joint a long time. Fish is always fried so crispy, to perfection. Used to have tank of live catfish if you ordered the whole fish. Highly recommend that, but the fillets are fantastic. Best catfish ever period, and I’ve tried a lot.

It’s no frills, or gills.. blues themed and some would say a hole in the wall type place but you will not disappointed. Order the medium catch or whole fish if you’re inclined. Eat the pickle and onion with the fish like Russians. Cheers friends!
