This bakery and cafe was the perfect place to eat breakfast this morning. Everything looked and tasted delicious. The employees are SO nice and helpful.

A small, oddly placed location, the literal definition of hole in the wall. Amazing food, baked goodies, it's super busy for a reason!! We've been there twice on our way through, worth the wait and sharing a table is always an option! We'll be back!

Very popular with the locals. Gluten free sweet potato scones, GF pancakes. Delicious eggs & bacon. If I lived here I would stop by regularly ❤️

Went in on Friday with my sister for a quick coffee, it was our 1st visit. They were busy but barely acknowledged me when placing my order at the counter, with no explanation about where it coffee was.The urns were un marked whether caffeine or decaff. Not friendly at all.Iam a senior and the place was very crowded so I left my group at our table, since there was limited walking space. Was given 3 glass plates with our cookies on them to carry to table by myself. When the attendant stopped talking to the other staff, she noticed I " might" need help, so she did carry the cups to the table & turned and walked away.Seems like not good customer service to me.I don't expected to be waited on hand and foot, but what's wrong with some people skills and common courtesy? I had been excited about going there because I read some good reviews , but sadly that visit will be my last.My sisters were leaving to go home from out of town& I hoped that would a nice place to take them right before they left.

Super amazing, home cooked, fresh, great food! Very impressed. The atmosphere could be improved but it’s a cute local place so it didn’t bother me. They were so so kind and helpful, and it was fresh and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.

I got the seasonal bacon/parm/lemon salad and we also got the turkey avocado sandwich, as well as a burger. All amazing!

Dietary restrictions: I eat gluten free and had no problem finding something.

Kid-friendliness: Have kid menu options!

We come here multiple times a month, always loved it. Today however, not a good experience. Food brought out 10 minutes apart. The crust on the quiche is sloppy. The biscuits were hard. The heavy metal being blasted from the kitchen was inappropriate for the venue and the audience. Do better Girasol, we know you can.

First and last time I’ll be visiting this restaurant. Called to place a to go order, wasn’t given an estimated time of pickup so I gave them about 30 minutes before I arrived. Took another 30 minutes before I walked out with my food that was now closer to warm than hot.

Food wasn’t good enough to justify the hour long wait.

Stopped for breakfast while visiting Amarillo based strictly on reviews. It is very casual, you place your order at the counter and they bring it to you. The menu had lots of interesting options which makes it hard to choose for a first time visitor. Most of the choices had New Mexico inclination. My brother had the biscuits and gravy which came with scrambled eggs. Wife had the green Chile chicken enchiladas with a cup of the soup of the day. I had the Sante Fe eggs Benedict. After sampling mine and my wive's meal I was blown away: far and away the best food I have had outside of Sante Fe and it might even be better than that. The owner came out to visit with us and explain how she developed the restaurant and menu. This is, also, a bakery and has several options of fresh baked pastries which were delicious. The water served with the meal was a cucumber water which surprised me at first sip but was refreshing and enjoyable. The coffee was gourmet piñon nut flavored and strong enough to taste. This place is hidden gem in Amarillo. I told many of my friends about it and none were aware of the place. I will return to Girasol every time I am close to Amarillo.

Waited 45 mins for a Greek yogurt bowl which should take 3 mins. Waitress “forgot” we sat at a table and our food sat behind counter while we waited. Terrible experience, will never return and suggest you don’t either
