Golden Chick is fine, but I'm only making this review to say the ice cream has been broken every time I've been in here. One of the reviews on here, made 5 months ago by Kevin Nguyen says, the free ice cream is so great. Nope. You are either lying, or a bot Kevin, because I don't believe you the ice cream machine was was working 5 months ago.

A great place if you like chicken or fish. We make it a point to stop every time we come to Amarillo. The place is always clean, service is friendly and the food is great. They will even amp up the heat for you.
Order A 10 PCs legs and thighs but only had 8 PCs so hot a few rotisserie smaller but it works, need to open a few towards the El Paso Texas area so I don't have to keep a eye out for a location as I travel though Texas

The sign on the door said they closed at 10'pm. The lobby was locked at 9pm. Drive thru still open, but the sign on the door needs to state that. I would have left if I hadn't already made an online order. Not good business practices. Missed several customers but perhaps that doesn't matter to you.

The little girl with the headset, had a whole attitude. Idk if she doesn't like her job or just didn't like us. But, either way her attitude will send alot of paying customers away. Might wanna fix that FAST. The FOOD WAS YUMMY THOUGH. Might return to a different location.

We live in Lubbock and miss Golden Chick . We were in Amarillo and wanted to try Golden Chick. We ordered the 12 piece fried, they only had 9 pieces fried and we would have to get 3 baked. Took the chicken back to where we were staying. The fried chicken tasted like it had been fried that morning and sat under a heat lamp all day. It was not eatable the chicken went in the trash. Okra, rolls and Cole slaw were very good. Needless to say we will not spend our money there again. Over $45 dollars worth of chicken that we could not eat.
