Really great food probably the only reason I'd recommend. Place was definitely busy so it's well liked. Trash is by the outside dining so we were infested with fries and there's hardly any good seating inside. Place could use a face-lift for sure
Great history and tasty food. Can't believe this was my first visit. I've been coming to Amarillo visiting in-laws fur 20 years and have never stopped in for a meal at GoldenLight
Dropped by on a Monday, at 12:30. Seated immediately at the bar. Best place to sit, by far. Watched 2 cooks, and 2 servers, work together in 20 sq ft max. First thing I noticed was, everything was fresh. Nothing had ever been frozen. Beef, chicken, fries, all fresh. Had salad, burger with green chiles and grilled onions.
