If you are visiting and can only try one thing, get the sampler of their chicken fried steaks. Each one was better than the last. Had planned to share but after the first bite I changed my mind.
The building would be a definition of a dive, but it's kept clean and they have a really hard working staff.

My Dad brought me here. I’m from Houston and frequent some of the finest steakhouses in Houston. I ordered the ribeye for lunch and it was up there on one of the best steaks. Beyond tender, the char….so good. The service was amazing. I was sent home with a complimentary dessert for not being around here. If this isn’t hospitality I don’t know what is. A great lunch with my Dad thanks to this place. Will definitely be back!
