We had a very nice time at the bar. The service was excellent. Not sure I would recommend the filet or the crab cake. Try something else.

Highly recommend the steak and fresh vegetable side with creamy farro—fantastic! We were treated to dessert on our anniversary. Highly recommend this restaurant and a stay at The Barfield. We will be back!

The bartender seemed disinterested in his job, not very friendly and probably in the wrong business. While we were reading the menu, four gentleman walked up to the bar and ordered drinks. My wife noticed that the drinks that were served, Old Fashions, were not made properly. The fruit was not muddled, instead it was skewered and rested on the top of the glass. The two men that ordered both had quizzical looks on their faces when presented with their drinks, but said nothing. The bar was out of the white wine I ordered for the appetizer, so I had to choose something else. The crab cake appetizer was two small cakes that were good but nothing exciting to the palate. My wife had the bucatini pasta and meatballs. It was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. I had the braised beef gemelli, which was over salted, had too many ingredients and was way off the mark. The poached egg on top was over cooked. When adding a poached egg to a dish, the yolk should be runny so that it enriches the sauce, other wise, why bother adding it. There was also torn crostini added to the finished dish, neither appealing for presentation, nor very good as a texture or flavor ingredient. Every bite of every ingredient in the dish tasted of salt. The overall color scheme of the dish was also lacking presentation wise. The dark sauce gave the dish a monochromatic appearance even though there were multicolored ingredients. The side of seasonal vegetables I ordered, was colorful and well prepared, but also over salted. The restaurant does have ambience, which brought the rating up. I

Had the biscuits & gravy, some bacon and coffee for breakfast and it was very good. The service was good. All good. I would go back.

Exceptional service and dinner! Our dining experience in the restaurant was superb, with the server being incredibly informative about specials and menu add-ons. Highly recommended, this establishment is a true gem in downtown Amarillo.

👍 We fully enjoyed our date night dinner. Place was busy but we had a reservation so we were seated quickly. Our waiter was very friendly and gave us helpful advice and service. We split the pork chop dinner with potatoes and Brussel sprouts. Excellent presentation with decent size portions. The sauce was delicious. There is $5 charge for the split plate but had full order of vegetables. Also had the Caesar Salad $14 which we split 4 ways. Atmosphere is pleasant and d dress is business casual. Parking is valet or in lot across the street. Will most definitely be back ❤️
Great steakhouse in a great hotel the waitstaff was exceptional! The steak was the best I’ve had in awhile, my wife and I loved a great steak in Texas!! Drinks were perfect

It was a good little ice cream place with many options, The staff is really Friendly and they will take care of you. The only reason I gave them four star is because I ordered some corn and it was not cook right, and it was pretty chewy and it was cold.
