Great food, great staff. A real pleasure.
The place was packed but service was quick and efficient. The Big Texan (restaurant) just down the road gets all the publicity but Hoffbrau is every bit as good... if not better.

It’s disappointing to say that our recent experience will likely keep us from returning. From start to finish, both the service and the food were below average.

Wrong drink was brought out, we had to ask for refill on drinks, and we had to find the waitress to get the check.

My husband and I ordered ribeyes cooked medium, but they arrived rare and had to be sent back. When we let our waitress know, she seemed disengaged and walked away looking up at the ceiling.

The steaks were already heavily seasoned with pepper, and when they came back out, even more pepper had been added. My dad ordered the smoked ribeye, which was extremely tough and not enjoyable at all. Based off other reviews about the smoked ribeye, this seems to be common.

This was a birthday dinner for my dad and we wanted to celebrate with good food and drinks. Unfortunately, after this visit, we won’t be returning.

The atmosphere was forgettable, but the food was the real disaster. My 10oz sirloin had absolutely no seasoning, no flavor, and looked like someone stamped grill marks on it and then just threw it in a pan. The outside was soft with no crust.  The pictures online are very deceiving. I’ve had better steaks at the most basic chain spots, and that’s saying something.

My server made the whole experience even worse.  He was obviously a man but was wearing women’s make up, fake nails and was putting on a feminine voice. I expect this type of server in Austin, not Amarillo.

Between the terrible food and how uncomfortable the server made me, this restaurant managed to check every box for a bad dining experience. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t send anyone here unless I didn’t like them.

The absolute worst steak and service ive have had in a while. Payed 30 for a steak and it came out as a fatty flavorless ribeye that looked like a skirt stake. Had better sides in a cafeteria, and 20 people went in front of us before we got a turn to sit down. I had to go up to the hostess twice to be seated, and the witress checked in on us twice. Terrible experience for the whole party.

Great amazing service. Waitress was great, food was amazing. Saw a team working together and delivered above expectations.

If you’re in Amarillo, Texas, you definitely have to visit this Steakhouse! The customer service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked steak, full of flavor, and served fresh and hot. And the best part? They have the best local beer I’ve tried in a long time — a perfect match for their amazing food. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great dining experience in Amarillo!

Absolutely the worst ribeye I’ve ever paid for at a restaurant……way too thin and rare instead of medium rare.
Baked potato was cold and the salad wilted.

If you love yourself... come here. The service is amazing. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere definitely welcoming. The spicy ranch is AMAZING. and those steak fries are so freaking crispy its amazing!!!! If im back in Amarillo Ill definitely be back.
