Best steak restaurant in amarillo in my honest opinion amazing food and service everything we are in town this is 97% where we gonna eat

My wife and I had a Sunday dinner here. We arrived at 745. We ordered the fried mushrooms for an appetizer. Typically fried mushrooms arrive way too hot to eat. These fried mushrooms were warmer than room temp but not much. They were underseasoned and the coating was slightly soggy. The house salads were OK. There was too much dressing on both salads, but we probably should have asked for the dressing on the side. The red onions in the salad were cut incredibly unevenly and looked like they'd been cut with a paring knife whole holding the onion in the other hand. My wife had the center cut filled. I had the 13oz ribeye. Her filled was tough but cooked to temp (med rare.) Her greenbeans were fine. My ribeye was unevenly marbled and lacked intermuscular fat, so it lacked ribeye flavor. The steak fries, like the mushrooms, were slightly warmer than room temp and had no salt or other seasoning. When we were finished we waited 15 minutes to get our bill. The restaurant was around 20% full at the time. We were thinking any steak place in Anatillo would have to be excellent to stay in business. There is a reason the nearby Outback steakhouse thrives being so close to a locally owned steak place. And as a huge fan of locally restaurant it pains me to say this, but I would have preferred Outback. :(

Always great experience here. Best steak and special made scalloped potatoes!! You have to try the stuffed relleno, also, as a side. It is actually a poblano but delicious!!

Tamara was an amazing waitress. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended the coffee rub ribeye and it was one of the best tasting steaks I ever had. Much better than the national chain steakhouses in the area.

Everyone in my party were extremely satisfied with their food selection. From Steak to seafood to their delicious pork chops along with their fresh baked bread. Great place to dine in Amarillo Tx.

I had the pleasure of eating here on my way to Colorado Springs. My server BobbyJo was so sweet. I had the chicken fried steak with creamy gravy & salad. The chicken fried steak was hard around the edges. Some like that I'm not one. Everything was delicious. I worked around the hard parts and cleaned my plate. If I ever have the pleasure of traveling this way again. I will stop in. Warm hospitality from beginning to end.

Got recommended from a friend that knew I was driving through Amarillo. I give it two thumbs up! The chile relleno on my steak is definitely a big reason why. My only critique would be they can sautéed the mushrooms better. Other then that, it’s a legit steak house. Had no idea they had some in DFW so they’ll be seeing me again!
