Hoffbrau Steak & Grill House

Last night we decided to go to the Hoffbrau Steak and Grill House for dinner. If you are ever in Amarillo, don't go here expecting German type food. But please try it anyway for some awesome American-Texan food. I had the Smoked Sirloin with corn on the cob and Tonya had the Shrimp and Grits. Both meals were great and the service was very good also. Tonya also a Pretty in Pink drink (which was a little too tart for my taste, but she really liked it) All in all, I would rate this place a 10 out of 10!

Very good place to eat

Great food. They service chicken and salmon as well as steak. The steak soup is great, as are the dinner rolls. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Alcoholic drinks are available.

Came in hungry, had an excellent meal. Unique dish: steak with relleno over top. Server did a courteous, efficient and attentive job for us and nearby tables.

Bland. Had the chopped steak and I'm pretty sure the kitchen is afraid of seasoning.

Been several times. They cater to Vets and active service members. That makes them very good.

This was a fantastic restaurant. The decor was fun! The only reason for 4 stars was that they were out of the local beer I wanted to try. So really, 4.75 stars! Darriel was an awesome waiter. And the apple cobbler was real close to the homemade taste I was looking for!! Definitely recommended if you’re in the area!

We were traveling through Amarillo and decided to give a try. I had a rib eye, relleno, and broccoli, cheese, jalapeno soup. Everything was perfect and delicious. I would recommend giving them a try!

The chicken fried steak, salad, and green beans were delicious! We had excellent service! We definitely recommend!

Vegetarian options: We had fresh green beans and fried mushrooms with cream gravy. The green salad was fresh and delicious!
