I went a couple of weeks ago and it took forever to get our food. The pancakes were cold. I thought maybe it was just one of those days when they were behind. I tried it again today. I’ve been waiting 45 minutes and still do not have my food. I ordered 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and bacon. I won’t be back.

My experience at IHOP in Amarillo, TX, had its ups and downs. The atmosphere was nice, and I was seated promptly, but the wait for food was excruciatingly long—45 minutes! The waitress seemed more interested in her phone than attending to customers. Additionally, I noticed our food sitting under a heat lamp for too long before being served. The bathroom had a strong perfume smell that lingered even after leaving, making for an unpleasant ride home. Overall, a poor experience marred by several issues.
This was the absolute most terrible experience I've had at this establishment. Where to start. First there was only two waitress neither one knows how to speak clearly. You cant understand a thing they say. Secondly the food come out cold when asked for warm pancakes you get attitude back. They both need a lesson in hygiene. One had on a black hoodie and was covered in animal hair. Then to top it off you go and pay $45.00 for food that was barely edible. This is just a shame that after work you cant even get a hot meal that you pay for. These guys can even say it was busy. I could count how many people were in the whole restaurant.

Been here a couple times, but not going back after the last experience. Took almost an hour to get our food and it wasn't packed, even the waitress said it wasn't that busy. My hashbrowns were so overcooked they weren't edible, the waitress did offer to have them make more but at that point I was already almost done eating & figured it would take to long to get. My sons chicken in his chicken biscuit was dry and flat..he only ate half of it because he was starving otherwise he wouldn't have eaten any. Such a waste of time and money.
