You know when you have a favorite item at each given restaurant. The chicharon burrito is my goto at Lupita's. It's spicy and texturally devine. I've tried chicharon burritos all over. I've never found one that can compare. The salsa is pretty good. You don't need it with chicharon.
Waited at the window for 15 minutes on a Saturday morning and the 2 ladies just kept looking at me never once coming to the window to acknowledge. So I left and went to McDonald's. If you can find someone too take your money the burritos are delicious. I'm still salty I had to go to McDonald's that's why I'm giving 3 stars
In my opinion, the best burritos in town. Great flavor, big enough for this appetite, and so so good. If you passing through Amarillo and want a taste of true Amarillo greatness, grab a burrito from Lupitas, to go.
