The food was good, I had the barbacoa taco plate. The serving was perfect, the rice and beans was superb, the salsa and chips were fiery pero good. The waitress was super nice the wall pictures were very reminiscent of my parents choice of music and cinema. We walked and didn't wait long to get service and food, great place, go eat there!!

I try to eat and review one Mexican food joint each week. Never been to Maria’s and had to navigate construction and backlot parking. Not pretty on the outside but vibrantly, colorfully appointed on the inside. Casual authentic Mexican cuisine. Today, I ate the best Mexican breakfast I’ve had in Amarillo. Ordered food for delivery from here. First time trying it. Ordered a breakfast burrito and some pancakes. Tortillas appear handmade as did the pancakes. It was delicious and tasty. Salsa was awesome and fresh. I will be eating and ordering Maria's Cocina!!??
