We always like to try new places when we travel around the world. This place is nowhere near the centre of Amarillo, it's out in a new development area sout of the town, but it was well worth it. The sombre lighting provides a nice atmosphere as does the decor. Emily took great care of us and the manager came over for a chat which was appreciated. Food was very good, the meatballs, steak etc. The whole evening was very pleasant

After over a year without a date night, Metropolitan Speakeasy made our return extra special. It's always been our favorite date night spot, and it did not disappoint. The steak was absolutely phenomenal—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The drinks were crafted with care and so smooth. And the brussel sprouts? Easily the best we've ever had—crispy, savory, and seriously addictive. Jared, the owner, went above and beyond by surprising us with complimentary desserts, which were just as delicious as the rest of the meal. His kindness and hospitality made the night even more memorable. From the food to the atmosphere to the service, everything was flawless. We'll definitely be back soon—highly recommend!

Great place for very nice dinner and drinks. Service is above and beyond. Food was amazing. Overall one of my top Restaurants in Amarrillo. Will definitely be back. Thank you Metropolitan Steak & Seafood for creating a wonderful experience.

We don't go out to eat much so when we do we like to splurge. In my opinion, this was definitely worth what we paid. The atmosphere was great. The service was phenomenal and the food was excellent 10/10 would recommend. 

Recently attended the Dueling Pianos! It was so much fun (normally the noise level is not ENERGETIC.) It was such a blast, and the crowd was so involved which made it great! Food and service as always, were on point! Love this place!

This is our favorite gem. We absolutely love the ambience and finest (chef) food. Not to mention the supreme owners and staff amiability is probably the greatest in Amarillo Tx. This is one of our favorite place for some of the finest steaks in Texas, and the best in Amarillo TX.

One of the coolest places in Amarillo to grab a bite, Chef Nori is an absolute gangster when it comes to whipping up the best dishes in Amarillo, the vibes are immaculate here. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable of their menu. I’ll always keep coming back

My husband‘s favorite is the chicken fried steak! He says it is the best he’s ever had! I love all the specials that that wonderful chef can cook! The steak is amazing and so are all the salads, Ukraine everything on the menu is just amazing! I love this place! It’s our favorite restaurant in Amarillo!

We went for our anniversary. We split the 6 oz Wagu Strip Steak. Had a side of mushrooms with the Au Poise sauce. So delicious! Went for our anniversary. Overall a great meal and great night. I had the Oaxaca cocktail - it was SOOoo tasty.

I came in dressed plain and simple with my wife and still received excellent service.
From the greeter to the seater and our waitress all top notch professionals. The food was absolutely delicious. The owner was also buzzing around doing everything, serving food and refilling waters. This goes to show how much he cares about his business. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience. Food, ambiance, and service are worthy of praise. Come and enjoy the quality for yourself.

While it was a bit pricey, The Wagyu steak was cooked perfectly and the red wine reduction sauce was well matched and tasted great. The spinach salad was also exceptional with the raspberry dressing, poached pear, and blue cheese crumbles. The wine choices were very good and matched perfectly with the food as was the cocktail (Old Fashioned w/ Basil Hayden Smoke) The Chilean Seabass was also cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. We added and shared the roasted asparagus and mashed potatoes which were very well done. I can heartily recommend this restaurant for a taste sensation.
