1st time diner here. Old school ambiance, great service, everything we ordered was prepared perfectly and was delicuous!

Brussel sprouts are the best around! Filet and salmon were great. My wife had the risotto- she loved it! One of our favorite spots to eat!

This is our regular date night spot, and it never fails to deliver a wonderful experience. Last night we ordered almost exclusively the chef specials, along with a few old favorites, and we were so overjoyed by our meal and left so satisfied. John was our server, and he is so kind and funny and efficient. Made great suggestions and kept our meal coming out at a great pace. Thanks to the whole team, and big shout out to the chef and sous chef, we always love what they come up with for specials. Will keep coming here for date night.

We chose The Metropolitan in Amarillo to celebrate our anniversary, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. They even put a beautiful rose on our table for our anniversary. We started with the crab cakes, which were full of flavor and perfectly prepared.

For our entrées, we had the Sea Bass and the Prime Ribeye. The Sea Bass was hands down the best I have ever had—cooked to perfection and topped with an incredibly flavorful glaze that made every bite amazing. The Ribeye was just as impressive—juicy, rich, and expertly cooked. We also enjoyed the Harvest Moon cocktails, which were smooth, refreshing, and beautifully crafted.

What truly made the night remarkable was the staff. Our waitress, Katyn, was amazing—attentive, kind, and made us feel so well taken care of. Brandi also checked in on us throughout the evening and was wonderful. The Manager Jared was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations that made our dining experience even better.

The atmosphere, outstanding food, and exceptional service made our anniversary celebration perfect. Highly recommend The Metropolitan for special occasions or anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in Amarillo. 🥂✨

We ordered the NY strip- and sea bass- shared a wedge salad and the risotto. All were fantastic - service was timely and suggestions available on the different sauces. We will 100% return.

We came to eat here the day after Christmas. Everything was spectacular. Macy was our server. She was knowledgeable, professional, and very sweet. The food was outstanding. We got the petit filet, NY strip, salmon, and the crab elote as an appetizer. Everything exceeded our expectations and it was such a great experience! Thank you Macy!

If you are seeking delicious food in an upscale atmosphere in Amarillo, look no further and just book your table here. We had assorted appetizers and entrees of steak and seafood and all were delicious. Our server Paige took good care of us and understood what our family (2 parents and 3 teen/20 something boys) needed.

Had dinner last night Christmas dinner. And server got my husband's plate mixed with another person's order. We all finished our food and my husband waited 17 minutes for his food and the sides that were brought out originally, he could not eat because they were cold and some sides were gone, so he had to eat his steak fast with no sides
I felt bad for him cause he was just looking g at everyone. It was embarrassing

Couldn’t be more delighted. I had driven 8 hours, was starved, and decided to treat myself. I think I stumbled (ok, Google research stumble) upon the best restaurant in West Texas. As soon as I walked in I knew I was in for a treat. Staff are well trained and exceptional. Cool ambiance with a mix of vintage + modern. Food was highly executed. I made it a point to chat up the staff and happened to meet the GM (later revealed as the owner, Jared). He knows how to run a great restaurant!

Great, attentive service. Even while completely slammed, the staff made sure I had everything I needed. Amazing drink selection, and the team offered helpful insight and recommendations. The meal was awesome. I wish this could be a weekly thing, but it’s definitely worth the price. I’m already looking forward to my next dinner here.
