I work downtown, and get so bored of the same old fast food so I definitely wanted to try this and daaaang I'm glad I did. I got that Cuban sanguish and I wish I had gotten seconds. I'm so happy y'all are moving to a bigger place but sad you won't be so close
For anyone in Amarillo craving exceptional Latin or Mexican food, Mi Gente is a must-visit. I was blown away by their asada tacos – the flavors were authentic and the quality was superb. The street corn was also a highlight, perfectly prepared and bursting with taste. On top of the fantastic food, the service was truly outstanding. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making for a wonderful dining experience. Mi Gente is a real gem in Amarillo!
Find this hidden gem if your every in Amarillo. We got lucky and happened upon Mi Gente by accident. It’s right across from the Hogetown ballpark and the food is next level! Fresh, flavorful and filled with a skilled touch by Chef Paul, I wish we knew about it earlier on our trip. Carnitas and Asada cooked to perfection! Lots of veggie dishes and street corn to die for.
