Meat is dry. Turkey is even worse. Employees have an attitude problem with poor customer service. They also have a hearing problem not taking orders correctly. Most if not all tables were dirty along with floors. C'mon Bushland, Tx location you can do better.

I don’t know what’s happened to this place but it’s really gone downhill this past month to the point I decided to make an account and everything to hopefully get it back on track since it’s really one of two restaurants in the area. This last time I came in I got the sliced brisket tray and the portions were tiny, they were already small but now they got even smaller?? Chicken price went up too, though at this point it’s probably the only thing on the menu worth the prices. The sides I got weren’t filled all the to the top (the sauce cups were barely filled as well) and overall the service I was used to isn’t as great as it used to be (slower and less smiley?). Anyways, this place was really good in the past and I want to hope they get back to where they were. But right now everything tastes bland with people who really don’t know what they’re doing, service just needs a reboot. Also, the fountain machine and tables were supr dirty and the kids who work here are constantly on their phone, they didn’t even acknowledge me when I came in at first. I’ll update my review in the future if they fix their food and their service.

Beans and Green chilli mac/cheese is outstanding. However don't get the jalapeño poppers, definitely not worth the price. Poppers are tasty, but extremely small, over cooked and pricey. I can make 8 full size poppers for thier price of 3 half ones.

We have eaten here many times on the way to and from Colorado. Typically, it’s quite good…today was an exception. The brisket was basically inedible. Dry, tough, chewy…clearly past its prime. It’s a bbq place…if the meat is no good, you close the store for that day. Full stop. I won’t take that risk again. So long Mitch’s!

Best BBQ

Disappointed that you seem to be leaning more towards chicken than bbq. I stopped in here a while back and ordered the 3 meat plate one of the items being pulled pork. I stopped back through a week later and I order the same thing only to be told that you didn’t have pulled pork anymore and that you never had a 3 meat plate. When I know you did not the week before. I have several truck driver friends that stop at the Amarillo location inside the Toot n Totum at exit 75 and they all said the same thing well they had it last week. And this evening 8-8-25 I stop in here and order the stockpile by your menu it says it’s supposed to come with a drink and a side. Which is apparently a lie cause when I asked if it came with a drink and a side the girl said no. It’s getting to the point where I’m going to quit eating here if something doesn’t change. Hire people that know what the menu says or change the menu to show that you don’t get a side and a drink. I mean are you trying to go out of business? Because if you keep it up you’re going a great job.

Been eating @ the Georgia St location every Sunday. Met friends, taken food to my employees. And $1.50 beer😃! Manager Chelsea is a rock star! Her guest service goes above & beyond!

Brett and Brayden were absolutely amazing at Mitch’s BBQ Toot Toom in Bushland! Both were incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. They went above and beyond to keep everything clean and organized, and their customer service was top-notch. I was especially impressed by how generous they were. You can tell they really care about the customers and take pride in their work. Great food, great service, great team! I’ll definitely be back again!

Poppers were very greasy and the brisket had no flavor!

I live in area and have been here numerous times. I have waited to make review hoping things would improve. They haven’t so here is my review. Service is always slow. Always out of the food I want. I am luck to get all of the food I asked for. The place is not that busy and most of the staff are hanging out and laughing it up most of the time so there is no reason to wait 10 min for a drive through order. Food tastes good but not worth the service.
