Exactly what I was looking for. Visiting from Dallas, looked up “oldest bar in Amarillo” Old Santa Fe lounge comes up. Jason was the bar tender and we had a wonderful time. Good pool tables, fairly priced drinks. Excellent experience. Good folks.

Came to Amarillo to chill and have some beers and its a sweet bar. Great specials, great atmosphere, YOU CAN SMOKE INDOORS🤙, well kept pool tables, back patio if you wanna chill outside. Will be coming by here anytime Im in town!

I wouldn’t say anything but there are severalll people who report discrimination from the blonde lady wearing a hat with glasses, especially me! She got upset I didn’t talk to her because I was in a conversation and she misjudges my character when I actually never had a drink once and I’m not belligerent either! This has been going on for months and she let a full grown man yell at me when I was only respectfully asking, “Im being kicked out because I dropped cards?” My purse was broken..i just can’t believe she gets away with treating everyone like trash because I never had the chance to tip her before she finds ridiculous things to get me out lol I was literally in danger from that man about 3 ft away? I seriously think only the guy who works there knows good customer service. And that cigarette smell??

The staff is so extremely rude and the drinks are way overpriced. The bar as a whole smells horrible but the ladies restroom is exceptionally worse. I won’t go into details but I will say I held my breath went I went in the bathroom. Disgusting. If you’re looking for a casual, clean place to relax and get a good drink, this isn’t the place.
