Been here twice already. Both times the coffee was very mid. The atmosphere is great and the staff are very friendly, but definitely not the best coffee. Hopefully they can improve.
I was in desperate need of a matcha on my road trip and saw this place offered it. It was okay overall! If I could make any refinements, it would be that the milk to matcha ratio was off, too much milk compared to the matcha amount. I’d put the drink in a smaller cup, maybe half the current size, so the flavor comes through stronger. Hand whisking it in a traditional Japanese bowl for 30 seconds to a minute would also really help the flavor and prevent wasting powder. Otherwise...
Palace Coffee never disappoints! The drinks are always amazing, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is super friendly. It’s the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. Easily one of the best coffee shops around!
