Ordered for dinner ,told order would be delivered by 7:15. Later got a notification that it was passed to doordash, because “papa John’s has no delivery drivers”. Ummmm our order was a cash order, and dashers can’t accept cash. So no dasher picked up our order because it was a cash order, and we called to ask how this works, And what was going on, And the person on the phone, said a Dasher never picked up your order and it’s just been sitting here. Ok? So you guys didn’t care to notify us. Maybe call? We canceled our order, and ordered from Pizza Hut because at least they know what they’re doing. Why would you pass a cash order to DoorDash? No dashers Pick up cash orders because they’re not supposed to. You guys are gonna lose money and business doing this…. Very disappointed with your business

Let me first say that I've worked in the restaurant industry for a decade as a kitchen manager at Outback and Texas Roadhouse.
I've been doing gig work over the last 5 years and I'm semi-retired. So, Thursday October 23rd, I pull up and the manager, or maybe owner, was outside smoking cigarettes. He walked in immediately started putting together this customer's order I was there to pick up for without washing his hands. If I'm seeing it , it probably happens all the time. I confronted him about it. That's disgusting
I have an obligation to the customers of doordash, GrubHub and Uber. I let doordash know about it and they're starting an investigation of this location. I also told the customer. You could lose your ability to accept offers on doordash if they find you're in violation of the health code
Having been in management of restaurants myself I can assure you that goes against the health code of the State of Texas. That's absolutely not safe food handling.
I'm wondering how often this happens if I saw it? You might care when the health inspector shows up

I ordered a large pizza with double sausage and double mushroom. I picked it up and got home 5 minutes later and it had zero toppings on it. I called them to get it fixed and they said they had no record of my online order that I just picked up.

It would be great if this store isn't even an option if it's temporarily closed on the app. Went through the entire order process only to find after submitting the order that this store is closed. Not good business.

I was passing through town and stopped just before closing time to place a carry out order. The night manager and the staff went above & beyond with great customer service and helpful information about the area. I wish I could remember their names, but I appreciated the help and the food was very good also.

Jesse The Manager delivered great service and even better pizza. We had a terrible experience at the other Papa John’s of Amarillo with cleanliness and food handling. But after coming to this location Jesse made sure to make up for our experience at a whole other location! Now THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE…if you come in make sure to say hi to Jesse!

I can’t rate their pizza because they never showed up after 1 hour 30 minutes. Kept telling us the driver was coming but never came. Absolutely awful.
Good nice people. Horrible pizza. I couldn't figure out how to give less than a star. But it is bad enough that after forcing myself to finish my plate. I just decided to throw it in the garbage. Greasy is the best I can say. If you're going to have terrible crust, then you must have great toppings and seasoning. I don't want any free pizza, I suppose the best thing would be a complete refund. I know that won't happen. So I am simply saying this so some other person is having a pizza craving, and want a great pizza, then the last thing you should ever consider doing is Papa Johns. Get yourself a cheap microwave pizza, it will be at least as good. I am sorry to have had to post this. This is the first time I have ever given an evaluation of any product. Please understand, that the people are nice and helpful.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered food off Uber. When we got it we realized that one of the pizzas was still very doughy. I called them after contacting Uber with no response, their response was there is nothing they can do cause it was ordered through Uber. But my thing is Uber did not cook it. Papa John's did... they refused to do anything even with the website saying if your unsatisfied they will send another one of no charge. The manager argued that everything is pre cooked , if that's the case my pizza should've been completely cooked. I spend $60 and was only able to eat one of the 2 pizzas I ordered.

Unless things have radically changed recently, which I doubt, don’t eat here unless you want to risk getting sick. Employees are taught and instructed to regularly use let’s say expired food products, as a way to try and keep there on the books costs down (aka not tossing expired food).
