food and staff are amazing! praying that we will have this restaurant back when the covid storm is over.
Great service Good food Great facility Gourmet food
This was our anniversary dinner. We got curbside take out due to the Corona Virus. The food was delicious and the service was awesome!! Please remember our local businesses! Especially during this time!!
My favorite restaurant in Amarillo. We go there about once a week and have never had a bad experience. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly and efficient.
Loved it! Steak was cooked perfectly and was so tender. Wife ordered the Skewer and raved about the sauce
The rib-eye steak was phenomenal! The creamed spinach was also Soo amazing. The drinks were also Soo good! I highly recommend the snowy mojito and the vanilla mule!! Our bartender was so lively and made the drinks to perfection. The calamari was also delectable with the onion and tomorrow sauce. I will definitely come back!!
There is no possible way the chateaubriand I ordered was 35 day aged. It was unfortunately tough, rubbery and surprisingly lacking in flavor. Not just lacking the distinctive taste of quality dry aged beef, but lacked seasoning as well. The lobster was decently cooked, and the potatoes and spinach were tasty, but the star of the show was extremely disappointing.
Probably the best upscale restaurant in town. Extremely consistent with service and food quality. Amazing food irrespective of brunch or dinner.
Would leave no stars if possible. Arrived on a Saturday evening, not terribly busy, but had a 30 to 45 minute wait. Cool, we went to the bar... but then it took 20 minutes to even get noticed then received a drink menu.. before we could order a drink we were seated at a table. Great, sooner than expected... but then we waited at the table for 20 minutes to be served... no waiter/waitress to be seen, didn’t even receive any water. We decided to leave and we remain parched to this day. The Metropolitan had us seated, drinks in hand and an appetizer on the way in less than five minutes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I called on Wednesday evening and spoke with whomever answered the phone inquiring about the need for a reservation at 545 on Saturday. The lady who answered the phone assured me one was not needed. When we arrived today there were no tables. The hostess apologized and looked for a table. She turned to a coworker who I assumed to be a manager of some sort. This lady told me she was sorry, but they would not have any tables until much later. I told her okay, but I had specifically called three days earlier to determine if a reservation was needed and was told I would not need one. She asked who I spoke with and of course like 90% of phone calls of that type, I had no clue. And she said, "Well, if it was me I would have told you that you needed one." I said okay and turned to leave when she shot out, "I don't know who you talked to." I could have walked on out the door at that point, but her comment infuriated me. What difference would it have made if I had recalled with whom I had spoken? I reiterated that I did not remember with whom I had spoken. I also added that i was sure she did not remember the name of every person to whom she had spoken on the phone. I said again that i had made a call and was assured one was not required. Her response again was, "Well, I don't know who you talked to." This lady offered no effort to make things right or remedy my frustration. It basically was my fault for not remembering with whom I spoke. So we left and went to the Lazy Gator who treated us like royalty!!!

the fish and chips with homemade cocktail sauce was excellent! i will come back, as i enjoyed myself. But, considering the steak was extremely chewy i assume it was the cut not the chef.... you can do better if looking for a good prime rib. had decent service, and no wait.
The food was awful! We ordered crab cakes terrible who puts carrots in crab cakes! Larry ordered prime rib it was the worse prime rib! I order the rib eye it was tough and not seasoned! I substituted a baked potato which they charged me an extra $4.00 the potato was not warm enough to melt butter hard as a rock! This is over priced for the quality of food! Concrete floors warehouse decor not worth the money! Do not eat here! Very disappointed!
I've not been disappointed at Prime! Been here with small groups and large groups. Groups of all sizes are accommodated! The food is delicious and there is something for everyone. Not really a place for kids. The bar is nice as well. Service has always been great!
Had a great time. Went twice this week.
Skip this one. With a 78 on their first health inspection that they try to hide on the side of their reception desk , this "chophouse" serves a $36 ribeye that is dryer than the Sahara, but still dreched in butter. They have an eerily large menu, depressing plating, and bland entres. I will be disappointed in this town if this restaurant stays open with the same quality for any longer than a year.
