We found Public House via a Google search and decided to give it a try. We sat in the bar area and both people working were friendly, personable and professional. The drinks were great. I have never raved about a Cobb salad in a review before, but it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Entrees were a trip to flavortown. Highly recommended. Visited 8/14/25.
This was our first time to try Public House. We decided, based on reviews, this would be a great place to celebrate our 29th anniversary. The atmosphere was perfect for the date, the drunken mushrooms were a fantastic and delicious appetizer, and the entrees were superb. I had the Angus filet cooked a perfect medium rare with roasted potatoes and bak choy. My bride had the elevated, and I mean elevated, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and bok choy. They were both amazing! Hands...

Food is delicious and creative.
Saturday brunch is great; from traditional breakfast, to chicken fried steak, to omelets and things more exotic.
Really well prepared and served.
Large portions and reasonable prices for such quality.
Much more sophisticated and elegant than the usual fare in Amarillo.
