We have always had a great experience here until today, we had an order of fish and chips and the fish fell right out of the breading and the fries with all of our meals were awful, I don’t know if their oil is bad or the cook is new but everything tasted horrendous compared to usual and we all feel ill, the manager came out and was very polite and took care of the fish and chips but the new meal we ordered still tasted funny. We asked for the check and waited about 15 minutes until she came back around and we told her we were just waiting on the check and she rudely said y’all never asked for it. We used to love this place but it had gone down hill considerably.

We waited 2 hours for our food that never showed up. Everyone around us had their food and were seated way after us. The server would walk by us and not even talk. As we were leaving they said our food was ready and we could pay half price at this point we were so mad we walked out so unprofessional and was disappointing. When we asked where our food was they had 4 tickets in front of ours and all them people came a hour and half after we were there. Will never go back or recommend.

Another great example of the Amarillo downtown scene. Great place to stop in for a drink and a bite to eat. The upstairs is a bit more quiet for better conversation with the same great service for food or drinks. The downstairs is a fun atmosphere. The service is great up or downstairs.The food was served hot and fresh without a long wait. I had a cuban sandwich with fries and it was pretty good.

Parking: This is a downtown location, so the typical parking situation applies...street parking where you can find it and parking lots around the corner.
Kid-friendliness: there were some kids in the establishment, the crowd was not too rowdy
Wheelchair accessibility: The bottom story is easily accessible via wheelchair, I did see the wait staff using an elevator-whether or not the patrons can us the elevator is something I didn't ask

The food was absolutely delicious, and our server Lucas was super friendly and attentive! I had the arancini, which Lucas recommended and he was totally right that they are tasty. They were super crispy, and the flavors came together beautifully. I had the pulled pork sliders which were amazing flavor-wise, really juicy and it all held together well. The fries were crispy and hot, and seasoned perfectly. My friend had a cheese pizza, which had an amazing crust and the sauce was really delicious. The atmosphere is great, I’ll definitely be coming back!

We came for Polktoberfest at around 1pm, the hostess was horrible, unable to answer any questions and sat us at a table that had no waiter. We waited quietly for 15 minutes then asked a waitress at a neighboring table about our waiter, she said she would check and never came back. After 10 more minutes no one came, my husband went and asked the bar tender. Finally a waiter came. The waiter was great once we finally got one.

The first moment we walked in, we were told open seating from either two floors. We go up to the second floor to get a vacant table, no chairs, taken by some overcrowded table of entitled college kids. Staff should’ve kept an eye on their tables. Strike one.
We ordered our food, cheesy jalepeno pretzel (pretty good appetizer) and a chicken bacon ranch pizza with green chile peppers (dominos was better) their chicken appeared something from a frozen tv dinner, the green chile peppers tasted like they were thawed out and lost its spice…all resulting to a flavorless entree…strike two.
The service seemed slow, The drink selection seemed small, but my fiancé and I managed to find something for each of us. Really loved the honey blonde ale. Loved it enough to ask if I could get a six pack of the beer. The server told me that they could make a a growler for ten dollars each, and said that she would talk to the bartender about it. And she forgot, each server should meet the needs of the customer, they were not. Strike three.
In conclusion, better luck at chilis, bubbas, anywhere else I guess

Six car just helped us pull off the perfect surprise proposal for my baby sis! The staff was so incredibly helpful and accommodating even allowing us early entry to set up! The proposal went beautifully and we enjoyed a delicious brunch with the best service! Food and service have always been top tier here but this was made even more special because my sister and future brother in law had their first date here. We love coming to six car anytime but a special thank you to y’all for helping to make this special occasion a reality!

I'm loving the menu! I hadn't been in forever because I wasn't a fan of the menu after they changed from their original menu when they opened. They must've changed the menu again because it was awesome this time! I'm so glad I gave 6 Car Pub another try! Everything was delicious! I ordered completely off the appetizer and side menu because I wanted to try a few different things. We will definitely be back!
