We have been here many many many times. Love the vibe and live music every night. The owner is so sweet and personable, go there more than a few times and she will likely know you by name. Food is always good.

Stopped in on a road trip and split a burger with cheese, bacon & mayo, substituted the side chips for fries. I love fries that have the skin on. 1/2 burger was perfect size without being stuffed. We did start with their queso and chips that were very good. We also ate the queso bowl which was good too. Great service and the live music was nice. He had a nice voice and not too loud that I could still hear the other people at our table.

We tried to eat at Smokey Joe’s on 6th Street, but there was absolutely no interest from any of the staff. We were told to sit anywhere, so we selected one of the 2 actual tables available due to health limitations for sitting on high stools for a couple in our group. After 15 minutes of being totally ignored we decided to leave. A waitress approached the table next to us that had received their food carrying menus, but walked right past and never said a word. Two other tables finished and left, and she half cleaned those before walking off, and still didn’t acknowledge us in any way. The place seems to see itself as a biker bar for want-to-be bikers, and has no interest in anyone other than their regulars. Try it if you must, good luck.

I went here because the place across the street that said they were pet friendly I won't say the name but it starts with golden said they closed your patio that day which I was sitting in when I talked to them and my dog couldn't eat there. Smokey Joe's across the street though green chili cheese steak and onion rings for excellent the waitress was very friendly not only was she friendly she brought my dog a bowl of water really good atmosphere I enjoyed. So I am Glad Golden light Cafe was rude and obnoxious.

Horrible Establishment No Compassion for the sick My sister asked if she could place a donation bucket for her daughter who has stage 4 breast cancer. This place accepted the bucket only to return the bucket purposely damaged. With no donations . It’s one thing to say no one donated but to return the bucket with my nieces face purposely ripped. Shame on you Smokey Joes.Cancer Awareness that you turned down helping a cancer patient and even ruined the donation bucket.

Been coming for years.. Nice place to sit out on route 66. The brisket Texas taters are amazing.
Great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. The smokey Joe's burger hit the spot, but the fries could've been better. Should've went with my gut and ordered the onion rings, definitely going to try them next time I go.

Very good, with a pleasant and cozy Mood... interior and exterior area. There's a bar. Bathroom and parking. As the weather was good, we sat on the outside. We were very well served. We ordered the barbecue ribbon with coleslaw and was very tasty, well served dish. It's a good restaurant.

A Texas bar and restaurant with live music and good food. We stopped while on 6th street antiquing. A good variety of food and an optimal location… with music… ok! My husband loved the boneless wings. And I had a rendition of taco salad bowl but with steak.
