As a teacher and daily Starbucks customer who travels often, I’ve visited locations all over the country. This Amarillo location had exceptional service—the barista at the drive-thru was exceptionally happy, friendly, and professional.
However, the sun was shining directly into her eyes. This store would really benefit from a drive-thru awning—not just for customer comfort during the interaction, but to support the team working in harsh sunlight.
A small upgrade like this would make a big difference. I hope corporate considers it—this location deserves it. Will be emailing corporate. Thank you for a great experience Amarillo!!

This used to be my go to Starbucks for years but it definitely seems like it’s gone downhill. I always place a mobile order so it’ll be quick and it’ll be ready when I pull up. The girl seemed like it was so inconvenient for her to answer when I pulled up to the box. She wasn’t much better when I pulled up to the window. She was rude and short with me. When she handed me my drink she said “here” then before I could even ask for a straw she turned her back and closed the window quickly and proceeded to get on her phone. So I sat at the window for about 5-10 minutes before she fianlly turned around. Then she forget to give me my coffee cake as well after I asked. I’ve worked in fast food before so I get you have bad days but seriously that’s just simply rude. No smile? No hi how are you today? No have a good day? Nothing. I didn’t get her name but she had short blonde hair. I will not return.

Last year I finally found this Starbucks after driving around on I40 frontage road from the Drury Hotel. Again this year I wanted to visit. After 15 minutes of driving around we gave up and got back on I40. Worst location for a Starbucks!

I went to get two Venti iced blonde espresso with heavy cream. I got MOSTLY ice. The cup was not even full. Emily said that it was because of the heavy cream. I didn’t even see cream. Very disappointing. I wish Zack had made it.

The Coffee and service is fine . The HOLE next to pickup in the asphalt is Deep . I’ve been here 3 years and it hasn’t changed. It just gets deeper. I’ve told the servers about it . And they say you std aware of it . YOU just don’t FIX it That’s Ok , because a new Starbucks is open on Soucy close to Hillside.🙌👋
Cinnamon Dulce latte taste watered down and had no syrup in it, and they weren’t very helpful about getting me a refund for the food items I had ordered on the app that they were out of stock but didn’t mark out in the app.

This location really should focus on the people who get out of their cars and go inside. We saw a dozen cars come in after we ordered and yet they were served first. How does that make sense? The service is way below standard here.

Service was friendly, prompt, and I appreciated the fact that the servers took the time to answer the question I had about one of their breakfast items. Turns out that the Turkey Sage Danish was really tasty! (Also, I'm thrilled they have the Pistachio Latte back.)
