Sushi Yama is hands down one of my favorite sushi spots! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. Our rolls came out quickly, and everything looked almost too pretty to eat! The portions were generous, and the menu had so many great options to choose from. What really stood out was the consistency and attention to detail. It’s clear they care about both the food and the customer experience. Whether you’re going for a casual dinner or celebrating something special, Sushi Yama is definitely worth it. We will absolutely be coming back again and again

We came to eat this evening and everything was great. The waitress was kind and the food was delicious. We brought three children with us and everyone enjoyed. The portion sizes are large!! We over ordered for sure but we happily took leftovers home for tomorrow. Our favorite was the tangerine chicken! The boba drinks were also good and dressed up cute for the kids. All meals were played nicely as well, I just won’t upload more pictures because my children are in them but this is a must stop while in Amarillo! Thank you Sushi Yama!

The food's not bad there's just not very many types of sushi rolls. It's like they use the same four ingredients and just jumbled their order on each roll name.
And maybe I'm being too harsh on that but that's probably due to the fact that we was swarmed by fruit flies the whole time we was there. I smashed five on my own and my drink took out two. You could hear everybody slapping their table as they was trying to smash the flies as well.

The Ramen is not authentic Ramen. I had to cook it more when Igot home due to the raw look of all the items. The meat looks like it came from a school cafeteria. The miso is just salt and seaweed. This place should be ashamed to sell food. The service is typical we dont care attitude. Go somewhere else. I wouldn't even feed this food to my dogs. :)
We ordered alot of sushi and they got it out pretty fast and it was pretty good. The lobster and tempura were the best.

We put in a to go order at 6 and when we finally went to check on the status of our order after not a single update on the app, they stated they have had our order, hadn’t cooked it yet and would have it done IN 30 MINUTES.
Putting the eta of it at 2 & 1/2 hours past the order being placed. Bizarre
