Sweet Charlie's

Kind of disappointed… my husband and I were passing through and wanted a sweet treat. We arrived at 5:30 pm on a Sunday and the hours was until 8:00 pm. However, the shop was closed up and dark.

Showed up with my friends two hours before their closing time only to be met with locked doors, lights off, and someone behind the counter refusing to make eye contact with anyone outside! Closed with no explanation or warning same hours listed on the door as in Google if the owners have different "winter hours" they need to update them on Google as it is a bit out of the way, and I would have proffered to not waste the gas just to go home empty handed.

The lady at the register was very rude and unhelpful, she couldn't explain the menu to us first timers. The service was slow and ice cream itself was decent but definitely not worth the expense.

First time at this place, Aspen the employee very disrespectful after an hour wait for a small cup of ice cream. The employees don’t get in a rush about anything here. Ice cream didn’t get rolled up, just thrown in the cup. Awful service, don’t even bother.

It may be good stuff but the staff must be frozen in place as much as their ice cream is. Hardly what you'd call a busy night. It takes about 90+ minutes to get ice cream?We finally got a refund and went to Braum's next door after waiting over an hour.Something needs to be done to become more efficient. If they could up their production game they'd triple their sales.Production is definitely a choke point.Ice cream is supposed to be a treat, this was torture.

On 24 June 2022 at about 9pm we ordered as usual and said my husband is allergic to caffeine. The staff is usually so helpful but tonight the staff was so rude when we asked them to clean everything before they make his ice cream. I am really disappointed we usually get treated with so much understanding. ?

SoCal is delicious.Interesting little ice cream shop. They serve ice cream rolls - fun to watch. The wait was pretty long, but overall good experience.

The floors were disgusting and the service was horrible and rude. I didn’t get part of my order and the employee stated I couldn’t prove it because she didn’t give me a receipt. When I asked for a manager she rolled her eyes walked off and said there wasn’t one.

My family came to visit my sister in law and nephew here in Amarillo. This place was fantastic! It was a busy night but all the ladies welcomed every customer with a smile and worked so diligently! They even had like 3-4 door dash orders come up with a full house of people waiting to order. So if you worked 6/24/22 7-8pm great job! Y’all deserve praise! ??

My fiancé and I ate here for a late night sweet craving. I had a premium ice cream that was cheese cake flavor with sprinkles and a roasted marshmallow. My fiancé had the vegan ice cream with the monkey see monkey do mix-in. Both ice creams tasted pretty good. The concept of how the ice cream was made was quite interesting. Very different than most places that give scoops of ice cream, this place rolled the ice cream. The staff was very quick with making the ice cream and friendly. I would definitely recommend for anyone to come here I’d they’re in the mood for some ice cream that is differed than the traditional sonic or Dairy Queen.

Loved this place! And love the idea of adding alcohol to rolled ice cream.

Went last night 7-11 around 7pm and the young girl working the register was awesome! If she isn’t a manager or team lead, she definitely needs to be! I didn’t catch her name, but the girl was on it! Awesome ice cream and fast service!

It's just ice cream, nothing remarkable. It's prepared in a fancy way in front of you, with plenty of toppings to choose from if you want them. The portions are small and It's expensive. It's a nice place and the customer service was ok. All in all, it's ok, it just not for me.

Pretty expensive for what it is, but I guess it's the experience that counts? The ice cream was nothing to write home about. Don't go here if you're expecting fast service. It took about 30 minutes for us to even place our order...and then you have to sit down and wait for them to call your name and even begin making your order....which took another 15 minutes.
