Toom's Restaurant Waffle and Boba Tea

Toom’s Restaurant has truly become a staple for my family. It’s our weekly Chinese food stop and we’ve been regulars for a while now. The chef is always so friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better every time we come in. The food is phenomenal and consistently delicious, and it’s one of those places our family always looks forward to going back to.

Stopped in to pick up a quick order of sticky rice and fish sauce. That was the BEST FISH SAUCE I've ever had. Wasn't a small little sauce cup, more like 3 or 4 oz container.

While waiting for the waitress to show up, got to chat with the cook and I think the owner?... in any case, they were awesome and enjoyed getting to chat.

Definitely going back, can't wait to try the Thai lemon tea and an actual dish. They definitely put some love into their food.

I ordered takeout kids beef broccoli with fried rice and a large beef fried rice plate. I honestly do not understand how this place stays in business or even has decent reviews, if you can't make decent fried rice how are you even running an Asian restaurant?
The rice was inedible mush that tasted like it was made days ago, literally NO FLAVOR!!
Not to mention all the meat was sickly grey colored, dry and tough. I'm so sick of spending money on places that can't deliver even just edible food.
I can't fathom how you can make rice so bad?? Definitely not worth the 20$ I spent, if you have to add anything to fried rice to make it edible, it's garbage fried rice!
I would avoid this place like the plague when there are so many CONSISTENT places to get good fried rice like young sushi.

Overall it was some really delicious sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. The portions you get are just amazing for your buck,they almost over fill the containers and I love it.The staff is kind and friendly ready to server you,so definitely give them a try and support wonderful small businesses like this one
