I’ve been hearing about this place for quite a while and finally got to try it out this weekend. Our meal and experience was off the hook awesome! Staff was super friendly and we even met Tyler. What a great guy! If you are staying in or passing through Amarillo and looking for a great experience, forget the 72oz steak place and do yourself a favor and try the Ribs and Brisket at Tyler’s BBQ and follow it up with some banana pudding!! You will be happy you did.

The food's good. It's pretty much self serve for everything, and it's a little high priced. The food's not that good, you know. I did see the sign for yelp rated them very high. But I just felt like there's other places in town that had just as good of food, better atmosphere, and a little less pricey, but barbecue is expensive. So it's to be expected

It’s been several months since I was last in Amarillo. This trip we stopped at Tyler’s and the experience was fabulous!! I had the ribs and my wife the brisket. Both were amazing! The ribs were falling off the bone delicious. The pepper and spices were amazing. Every time we go the food is exceptional and the staff are so friendly. Even though we travel hundreds of miles to get there, and only come every few months they remind exactly how my wife likes her brisket. It’s amazing!! It’s also unbelievable that Tyler remembers who we are and comes out to talk to us. We feel so fortunate to have found this jewel of a restaurant in Amarillo. Such an oasis of hospitality and great food!!
