Food is pretty good, it is Wafflehouse. The service is great, tboae ladies are amazing. But this location, they really need to fix the bathrooms. They smell of sewer terribly and it lingers into the restaurant. Weve been traveli g through Amarillo for the last 8 years, often staying in the hotel next door so its convenient, but the wafflehouse has never fixed these bathrooms and theyve been like this for years. Clearly a plumbing problem. The lack of building maintenance is 100% a management issue that needs addressed. The staff is great.
Visiting Amarillo we found this Waffle House close to our hotel on Thurs. Nov. 5th. Ordered two meals with coffee. After waiting for a little over an hour, I got just part of my order, didn't get the ordered coffee, my wife's order never came at all.
Waitress seemed to be disorganized and loud. Antics were entertaining at first but quickly wore off the longer we waited. Cook visited our booth and retook the order, which also never came. We started talking to the people in the next booth and they were having the same trouble.
After expressing our displeasure, what little we did get was comped.

My favorite waffle house in town. My only suggestion is please clean the windows inside the restaurant. Those sides are so full of old food, grease and dead flies.

Always an Amarillo/Canyon trip favorite. Poor waitress had far too many customers to handle and we saw two tables walk out instead of waiting. The waitress seriously did her best despite overwhelming understaffing. The Sunday night crowd filled at least 3/4 of the booths and counter. But the food was exactly as ordered despite the wait.
Really filthy place and the cook looked dirty. The bathroom was filthy and so was the restaurant.

Today was not a good day to eat at this location...We came in just 3 people already eating... We came in 2 adults 2 grandchildren. The waitress didn't get our order correct and the food was not cooked correct. 4 people came in after we ordered. 3 adults and a child... The 2 adults and child left because of the unprofessional yelling amongst the staff and not being waited on and the other gentleman left because his order of grits was not going to be prepared because the cook didn't have anything prepared and this place was not busy at all... total of 2 tables and these people entering...
