I live in Houston and someone told me about this place so it was a Sunday and I decided to give it a try and at first I was kinda skeptical about trying it but always up for something new and it was absolutely amazing and the all the staff where very nice and welcoming, and all the small dinners had closed down around us and they only have big name places around is and I wanted something different the food was really good and it will be worth the dive to come again who knows maybe they will open a place like this one day around us. Thank you for the amazing experience and the really good food.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Hidden Gem Worth the Hunt
Every year, we make the trek from Jacksonville, FL to Galveston, TX to drop my son off at his grandparents'. Along the way, we stumbled upon this little hole-in-the-wall spot that serves a gumbo so good, it etched itself into my soul—but not, apparently, into my memory.
Fast forward to this year: I had to find that bowl again. I run a social media page with nearly 100K followers and post 10–20 memes a day, so my phone and cloud are basically a digital jungle. But I wasn't giving up that easy. After hours of digging, swiping, and squinting at blurry thumbnails, I found the photo from May of 2023. Thanks to the metadata, we got the coordinates—and let’s just say, this bowl of gumbos GPS is locked into the phones and we are now tracking it's location... 🤣
We're heading back today for that bowl of this magic. If you're ever nearby, trust me: skip the chain restaurants. This place is the real deal, tucked away and unforgettable (once you write the address down).

Great stop on my regular trips to Kemah area from Orange. Great tuna steak and sauted veggies. Staff is awesome but busy.
Last time I was here, a great place. Today, horrible service and overcooked crawfish tails. Had an empty drink for over 20 minutes.
