I live in Houston and someone told me about this place so it was a Sunday and I decided to give it a try and at first I was kinda skeptical about trying it but always up for something new and it was absolutely amazing and the all the staff where very nice and welcoming, and all the small dinners had closed down around us and they only have big name places around is and I wanted something different the food was really good and it will be worth the dive to come again who knows maybe...

Hidden Gem Worth the Hunt
Every year, we make the trek from Jacksonville, FL to Galveston, TX to drop my son off at his grandparents'. Along the way, we stumbled upon this little hole-in-the-wall spot that serves a gumbo so good, it etched itself into my soul—but not, apparently, into my memory.

Absolutely love this place. Very good quality everything. The options are great too so if you don't want seafood their burgers are fantastic as well. Good place to watch sports and hang out. I like the music selection...a lot of Texas Country favorites. While all the servers are always great and attentive, they're typically understaffed for normal crowds so plan for a little extra time there.
