The food is good but not for the price.$34 for two bowls of gumbo. $2 for water. On top of that, 3% charge if you use a card. Meanwhile, they do not give you an itemized receipt so you have no idea if you're being charged correctly. You would think for the prices they charge, they could afford to give you a simple breakdown of your check. Pretty ridiculous. They nickel and dime you wherever they can and it's honestly just greedy at this point and we won't be back.
I live in Houston and someone told me about this place so it was a Sunday and I decided to give it a try and at first I was kinda skeptical about trying it but always up for something new and it was absolutely amazing and the all the staff where very nice and welcoming, and all the small dinners had closed down around us and they only have big name places around is and I wanted something different the food was really good and it will be worth the dive to come again who knows maybe...
