Not sure if they are really open. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. There was a sign on the door with a couple of numbers to call. The bathrooms are outside. I can say the bathrooms seem to be well maintained, pretty of tp and paper towels.

If you are ever around Anahuac TX you will want to stop in to Frascone Winery. Jim has been there for many years. His wine is excellent and their Alligator egg rolls are delicious. I wasn't sure if we would like them so we ordered one order. Wish we would have ordered two cuz they are so so good! We took a walk to the pier and watched the sun set. We had full hookups too!! Very dog friendly. Off leash to Rome and go anywhere on the property.

My dad Don Domingo Abreu Mendez had a home based winery in Tenerife, Canary Islands, in Rubio, Tachira, Venezuela, and in Montrose, Houston, Texas, This place and their Gator meat fried rolls, Italian pasta are super delicious and I am addicted to their Sweet wine! Please a beautiful place in Texas

Worth the drive. Excellent meads and ports and good conversation. The owner's wife makes the excellent alligator egg rolls and potstickers etc.
Due to weather, we arrived 10 mins before closing. Yet Jim and his wife welcomed us as if they had just opened! We did a wine tasting, ordered the delicious shrimp basket, and even enjoyed a little mead tasting after dinner! We will definitely be back and tell our friends about this place! Thank you Jim!

Harvest Host members should have this as a must stay.The owner is an awesome man who has many unique experiences and stories to tell. Perfect while you sample the various wine and mead that is made right on site. He was also kind enough to give my 7YO a tour since my son was so excited to see how grapes turn into wine.There are some unique takes on wines and meades and all of them work. Each one is delicious.As others have stated the alligator rolls are so good and worth a bite while you decide which wine to take home. The dumplings were also very good.For Harvest Host members, the spots were great and I had very little issue with my 46' toy hauler and full-sized bed dually truck.
