Very friendly folks. Barbecue was bangin. Huge sandwiches. Great tasting sauce. Veteran owned and closed on Sundays.
We had lunch at this restaurant today. When you drive up it doesn’t look like much of a restaurant, more of a gas station. But once inside it’s nice. I had a 2 meat plate (ribs & turkey) with cole slaw & green beans. My wife had the same only with chicken & turkey. We both thought the food was excellent, tender & done to perfection. The ribs were possibly the best I have ever had. Definitely would recommend this restaurant.
This place is a Texas Staple & hold's not only great memories for generation of family member's but Great Food as well.
I have been coming here for years. Hands down the best Bar-B-Que around here. And I drive a ways to go there. Owners are exceptionally nice. Reatroons always clean. Good deserts too.
The service was good, the people were great, and the good was excellent!
We stopped here for lunch on the way home from Houston. They offer different bbq meals & sandwiches. We all ordered the sliced brisket sandwich. It had onions, pickles , sauce & several slices of brisket. It was tender , large & very tasty for $10. We will be back.
Love this normally! The links were very tough, and the brisket super fatty. I’ll give them another chance but I will question them next time.
I came here expecting a another run down, low quality, sucky business of the side of the high way, let’s just say I was dumbfounded by how good the food tasted, It was still the best meal I’ve had on the road in a good long while, and the staff were also incredibly friendly, letting us try several future menu items and even gave us a parting gift of bread pudding, they were incredibly nice and so was the restaurant, the inside was nicely decorated and had an overall pleasant atmosphere, all in all it was a wonderful experience And I would 100% recommended anyone passing by to stop and give there menu a try, you definitely won’t regret it.
Have been waiting 4 years to get back to Texas. I love the spicy boudin, gets the nose running and clears the sinuses. Can even park your tractor trailer there.
As always they can be busy, but worth the wait. Good food, service, and general all around nice place. Worth your time to stop and enjoy.

They have the best BBQ around. I make it a point to stop in every time I visit family in Anahuac. I usually get a big family take out. The ribs are my favorite. The also have homemade cobbler sometimes!
I live close by and have ate at this place for years. The staff is friendly, the store is clean, and the food is good. Weekend is always busy. They provide a cozy place inside the store to eat and gives you a chance to relax and check-out the decorations in the place. Stop by and check it out.
I drive by this place all the time and always wanted to stop I had available time and it sounded good so I stopped in to give it a try. I ordered the brisket plate on my first visit and was surprised it was very good and flavorful. I had green green beans with jambalaya and was not cut short for a great price nice little place clean all over and will gladly stop more often if time allows thanks gator junction staff is very friendly and very helpful .
Very clean restrooms, but mediocre food. I ordered the combination, which is a choice of two meats and two sides. The chicken was good, but the brisket was very dry. I had to dip each piece liberally in BBQ sauce to give it some moistness. The potato salad was below average and the green beans were average. The help was very nice...wish the food would have been better.
One of our favorite places to stop. Good sliced brisket sandwiches. Ribs are some of the best anywhere. Friendly people.
