Sylvia is the heart and soul of her restaurant. She is an amazing woman who really knows how to share her Durango Mexico slant on her cooking. When I stopped by for supper, she had two friends visiting, thank goodness, because Carla speaks perfect English and I speak no Spanish, so I had help reading the menu. The pork shoulder stew is excellent! I'm so happy that I found this gem!

They took the time to explain the menu to us and answer our questions. They do tell you that the wait is a little longer than normal because nothing is premade, wait wasn’t bad at all, food was really good and the service was great.

This lady running this place is the reason I love to spend my money in mom and pop businesses. She is so nice and attentive. Her cooking is definitely made with passion and is so tasty! And don't even get me started on the basket of chicharones (instead of chips), they are so good and she mentioned that they make them fresh every morning!

Was very hesitant about the place. Wasn't super clean, the staff was just there to help out that day. Food was better than I expected. I wouldn't put at top of list, but if looking for something more like a Mexican home cooked style....go for it.
