Taqueria Gael is a gem run by Sylvia, who shares her Durango Mexico cooking. With a menu explained by friendly staff, enjoy dishes like the excellent pork shoulder stew, freshly made gorditas, and other authentic Mexican meals. The wait is worth it for the delicious, non-premade food served with great service. Everything was incredibly delicious and flavourful. Fresh mixtamal corn tortillas were the highlight, have not had that type of tortillas anywhere in this area. This place totally deserves it. Their experience was amazing, food was delicious… everything was made from scratch at the moment and was exquisite. Very good hole in the wall kind of place, with handmade fresh flour and corn tortillas, fresh food made on the spot, serve fresh/hot chicharrones as chips and salsa. Really became their favorite place to visit when in Andrews vicinity, worth making a special trip just to eat here. The care and attention was unbelievable. If you miss a good home meal, they will definitely recommend this place. Also, service was amazing, everything was served in a timely manner and cleanliness were a highlight. They will definitely come back when where working in the area.
