Went to a party in the event space upstairs. It was easy to get to and the service was great. There was also an elevator which worked great for older folks who couldn't do stairs

I was disappointed by my experience with El Patio in Angleton, Texas. Beyond the underwhelming food and weak drinks, the behavior of the ownership has been particularly troubling. The owners have been openly hostile online toward individuals who hold differing political views, especially those who oppose former President Trump.
It’s especially concerning that, while profiting from Mexican cuisine, they simultaneously express support for policies involving the mass deportation of Mexicans. This contradiction is not only offensive but deeply unsettling for many in the community.
I urge anyone, especially members of the Latino community, to consider the values of the businesses they support. Respect and inclusivity should be the foundation of any establishment that claims to represent a culture.
