Stopped in as I had read about this place in a couple aviation related social media site, and even though I wasn’t flying in, we did stop on the way back from the beach. Enjoyed the food which was fresh and well portioned, service was excellent. Menu is tropical seafood for the region but also had s9me interesting Asian dishes! Would recommend, especially to any pilots looking for a great food stop!
I stopped by The Runway Café in Angleton recently, and I’ve got to say, it’s a hidden gem that more people need to know about. I ordered a classic cheeseburger, and it absolutely hit the spot. You could taste the difference with the fresh, real beef patty, nothing frozen or processed here. The burger dressings were crisp and fresh, adding the perfect crunch and flavor to each bite.

First time visiting this cafe. The food was very good and the place was very clean. We traveled 45 miles to eat there and will return. It was a motorcycle trip on a Friday afternoon. There was only one plane parked close but we saw several take off and land. \nThe owner was there and we had a great conversations. .
