Before covid I use to enjoy the burgers here. When they reopened after covid I was excited to have those burgers back. I was sadly disappointed though. They tried making the same burgers but something is just off about them. They're not horrible but they aren't as great as they were before. I think a big part of it is they try to overcompensate for a lack of seasoning with size of patty. It just tastes like a bunch of bland meat.
The wait staff are great and the food is good ! I have ate there 3 times this past week, And of course the .50 cent Jell-O shots when the train goes by is a nice little perk as well .
Great bartender. Drinks were great. Food was excellent. The place needs a little updating. Not a lot of inside seating. I would recommend if your looking for a lively place with good drinks/food but appearance doesn’t matter.
