I purchased 2 orders of chicken straps. We opened up the boxes at home to find the smallest chicken strip I have ever seen. Each chicken strip measured a little over an inch. I called Whataburger and they said I could get another order. I drove 10 minutes back to the store and waited 10 more minutes for 3 chicken strip and they nicely threw in a piece of toast. Ridiculous

Went through drive through only car at the time ordered my food. Ask for no salt on fries. Lady told me to pull around they will bring my food out. Sat there for 10 minutes before they brought my food. The fries was not hot and so was the burgers. My food should not have been cold. My fries should have been steaming hot but they was not. Plus we didnt get any straws for the drinks. This use to be a good whataburger but now it's just sorry. Not gonna eat there anymore.

Waited 25 minutes for food while people that came in after me with bigger orders receive their food. Got my money back went somewhere else. Worst whataburger experience I've ever had

Waited 5 min for someone to come to the counter. Waited another 14 min to get the pancakes and bacon that I ordered. Bacon was ice cold not even an attempt to warm it up and had towns were cold. And to top it off. The tea was soured. Got my money back. This is a direct reflection of bad management. Worse Whataburger experience ever.after reading the other reviews. All employees need to retake food handlers course and health dept needs to do a random inspection. Food is supposed to be hot. This is a really bad reflection on the franchise and should be investigated.

No matter what time we go the food is always wrong, the fries are always stale, the hamburgers are always cold. When we first came here it was great, but not now. I use to love Whataburger but this place makes me never want to go to any of them again. Absolutely horrible

For more than 30 years I have lived in Texas eating the occasional guilty fast food meal. I specifically have a fondness and nostalgia for the taste of a warm, fresh, double Whataburger w/ cheese.
Never (and you can check my other Google reviews) have I gone out of my way to leave a bad review at a fast food restaurant. I have worked in the food industry, so I have empathy for the difficulties of working in a restaurant and understand that bad days happen. A couple of bad experiences can just be unlucky. Things happen.
I can say with confidence this is easily the worst Whataburger I have ever been to. I would go far as to say it is one of the worst repeated fast food restaurants I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing.
At least 10+ times I have ordered at this location since moving to Angleton. Mostly ordering through the mobile app to avoid an extended wait time in the restaurant. Not once has my order been ready within 30 minutes of the expected time. Not once has my food been fresh or even moderately warm when I received it. Often it is missing obvious things like cheese that is ON THE RECEIPT given to me with the order.
I have many times ordered through the mobile app, waited to leave my home beyond the expected ready time (because they have screwed this up so so so many times), then arrived at this Whataburger only to wait an additional 45 minutes to receive cold food that looks undercooked and downright disgusting. Patties are never seared, look greyish-green and sometimes are gelatinous in texture. Of the sort that I have been concerned about getting sick if I eat it.
More than once, I have stood at the counter for 10-15 minutes before being asked if I need help or even simply being acknowledged. All while managers stepped past me to go out into the dining area to play and talk with friends they know. How is this the case when you are incapable of preparing orders in any sort of reasonable timeframe? Many of these times there were 3 or fewer cars in the drive thru, and fewer than 3 tables of customers inside. No excuses.
If you frequent Google reviews, you are probably aware that District, Regional or even store managers will peruse negative reviews and reply to them. Trying to make things right with a dissatisfied customer. If you look through the negative reviews for this location, you will see no such effort. A plethora of recent 1 star reviews. No acknowledgement. No attempt to make things right. No improvement. Sustained ineptitude.
I would say I have no idea who is running this sad excuse of a Whataburger, but luckily the mobile app tells me that the "operating partner" is Lisa Allaun. I feel bad for the very few employees that have been kind to me throughout these bad experiences. If a member of leadership (I'm looking at you, Lisa) does end up reading this, you should be embarrassed. You've been at the helm of a pathetic example of what Whataburger is supposed to be. I couldn't imagine this being someone's first experience at a Whataburger. It takes real talent to let things get this bad and even greater talent to be so consistently horrible.
I recommend that everyone avoids this Whataburger. You are better off driving to another town if this is what you are craving. If I could give this location a negative star review, I would. Because, honestly, 1 star is far too high.
I hope this changes one day, as I would love to have a decent Whataburger experience in the town I frequent.
