Love to sit outside and enjoy the harbor at Dorados!

The atmosphere is awesome, and the food is good. However the food is cooked in a food truck, and the restroom is a trailer. That's usually fine, but on a Friday evening we waited 1 1/2 for our food after ordering. The food truck kitchen just can't handle any real volume.
I'd come again, but maybe not with dinner in mind.

Upside: Pet friendly, can get there by boat, large parking lot beside so can accommodate vehicles with trailers. Good menu selection, food is good, inside / outside seating. Staff friendly. Would say prices are moderate.
Downside: Retro chairs in dining area a little un-comfy. However, there are picnic tables to sit at.
Comments: Review based on 20+ visits. Will go back and would recommend. Place has a good vibe.

I've visited this place three times now. Each time, the food has been delicious, but the wait for it is always quite lengthy. The service leaves something to be desired; the waitstaff often appear overwhelmed, and it takes an eternity to get our beer. Plus, the beer is consistently warm by the time it arrives. On the bright side, the live band is always fantastic, and the atmosphere is really enjoyable.

We always get take out mahi tacos here . Best fish tacos in aransas pass that i’ve had .

I had pulled pork sandwich it was awful. It was served on a rather large dried out hamburger bun and the pulled pork was a scant 7 oz serving. Then they piled a serving of tasteless coleslaw that was twice as big as the meat on top of the sandwich. Then a giant portion of tater tots for 14.00 they do not have a kitchen the food is prepared in a food truck I highly recommend the building but not the food

09/16/2025: We went to Dorados for a late dinner after walking Conn Brown Harbor with my family. We have been wanting to check this place out for a while and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We had: Appetizer: Calamari 💯 Dinner: fried fish baskets i(t was so delightful and delicious 🤤) We definitely found are place to enjoy outdoor seating with a view. Amelia was our server and she was phenomenal. We requested to speak with their cook, Jet, to compliment his food. Friendly staff, amazing view and super delicious food! Will come back again. 🫶🏼

Love this place and if you catch the smoked oysters you will be amazed. Also Mahi tacos ate fabulous 👌

The nachos here aren’t your typical nachos, and I loved the twist! Instead of the usual cheese, they’re made with white cheese, black olives, jalapeños, sour cream, and shredded brisket with just a touch of BBQ sauce. The brisket was tender and added a nice smoky flavor. Definitely worth trying if you want something different and good.

Really cool key west style bar.
The staff was quick, polite, and attentive.
Th seafood is an absolute disgrace overcooked and definitely frozen.
The drinks were excellent.
If you’re looking for a nice spot to have a few drinks I would recommend, just avoid the seafood at all costs.

I would definitely not recommend the seafood it’s a disgrace that you can sit on the water and have to eat frozen bait sized shrimp. On top of that - I’m pretty sure it was old. It made me sick after. We also ordered stuffed jalapeño and some were still cold in the middle. Will just stick to coasters from here on out

Great smashed burger’s and sweet potato fries, the best that I’ve had in the Aransas Pass and Rockport area! Give them a try!

We visited 4th of July weekend. This placed was packed when we got there! We ordered drinks and food. The food was great- the burgers are on point. Good value for the price. Considering how many people were here we thought the wait was reasonable. We would come back next time we are in town.
