This place has changed! The fish is not meaty like it was before they remodeled. Customer service has never been on point, so that was not surprising 😕. Seating area is clean and spacious. Not rushing to get back 😔
I ordered the fish and shrimp basket with gumbo. It was pretty decent. But they need to give more tartar sauce, not a 3/4 small cup. And the so called chicken gumbo flavor was ok, but I don't know what that was that they call chicken. That was not diced chicken. Soon as you put it in your mouth, it MELTS. I put a piece on the table and pressed it, and it turned to mush. That's not chicken.
We just had the gumbo and red beans and rice... But it was just 'ok'. We read all the reviews before coming here, and they were all really positive. Maybe the other dishes are fantastic?
