Black-eyed Pea Reviews
The service wasn't very good. I had to wait a few minutes to be seated when i did get seated the table was dirty. The food was ok.
The last surviving Black Eyed Pea continues to deliver the quality I have expected and experienced for the well over 35 years I've been eating at this restaurant.

Black-eyed Pea offers excellent entrees and veggies, with favorites including chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken, as well as delicious desserts. The food at the Arlington location tasted just like it did 20 years ago at other branches, with some dishes like the turkey and dressing being especially enjoyable. The rolls and cornbread were soft and tasty, although there is a limit of three baskets of bread per table. The atmosphere is decent, and the wait time is short, making it a convenient choice. Customers have praised the food as flavorful and consistent, with some mentioning that it reminded them of the good old days before the locations closed down. Service has also been highlighted as stellar, with attentive staff like Donna and Kayla making guests feel welcome. Overall, the restaurant remains a good spot for nostalgic comfort food and a friendly environment, especially if visiting when Donna is there.
