I highly recommend this restaurant! We visited while in town for the Cotton Bowl. The atmosphere is very unique and exotic. The food was absolutely delicious and the music selection was so diverse and entertaining. Our server, Carla was friendly and provided quick service.
It's a place that steals your heart, it feels like home, and best of all, the food is prepared and designed to delight. Simply spectacular. We highly recommend this place.

Went to meet friends for dinner and got seated at different tables on the opposite sides of the restaurant. Ordered a ceaser salad and it had NO ceaser dressing on a couple of whole leaves of lettuce! I ordered my ceaser salad with chicken and got burnt chicken on the side(not in my salad). My wife's meal was not much better than mine. Eat there at your own risk!!

We had an amazing evening at Cafe American! Every single dish we tried was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The ambiance is so stylish and cool, with such a relaxed and welcoming vibe. You can tell that everything is thoughtfully designed. The owner is incredibly kind and gracious. We came as a family — my husband, daughter, and I — and had a truly wonderful time. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had lately

Cafe Americana is one of my favorite restaurants. The food and drinks are always delicious. The price for the value received is on par, and the service is always second to none. Audrey helped us on my last visit, and she was amazing, very kind and overly accommodating. I can’t wait to come back.

We dined here last night and really enjoyed everything we tried! Our waiter David made the experience wonderful with his kindness and attentiveness. Standout dishes to us were the Gambas al Ajillo which phenomenal, and the salmon & seabass entrees were great too. We will definitely be back!

This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away downtown, it's cute, the food is phenomenal, and the service exceptional.
We had the charcuterie board, the crispy pork, and the prawns. I want to bathe in the prawns sauce. It had the right amount of spice while still being flavorful.
The charcuterie board had the best salami we've ever eaten on it. The only note would be weird cheese choices.
The crispy pork was probably the weak link and it was delicious.
Can't wait to go back.

Just a truly hidden Arlington gem. Had tickets to Theatre Arlington and Googled restaurants close. As Cafe Americana came up with amazing reviews, checked it out. Such a cool, artisan, understated, and eclectic vibe from the start. Walls are painted a lovely green, with beautiful geometric artwork to accent. Spices are grown in-house and dried lime rinds are hand-ground to rim incredible margaritas. If you are ISO mundane, cheap chain restaurants, look elsewhere. Everything is made in-house and with passion. Wait and kitchen staff, and bartenders, are all welcoming and amazing and exude passion about what they do. Have a question about what wine pairs well with what dish, just ask and rest assured you will receive an educated reply. The coconut cake is just a work of art, complete with a blow torch taken to the cream with a delightful rum sauce. Run, do not walk.
Love this place

Excellent brunch. Was nearly empty right at opening on Sunday at 11am.
Had the Paloma, the Shrimp & Grits, and the Coconut Cake all of which were excellent. The coconut cake in particular was outstanding (and huge).
Service was good/friendly, atmosphere was good, and it wasn't too big of a restaurant either which is nice.
Really really hope this place sticks around for the long haul, it's great.
Manager note: Just FYI, the bathroom faucet's hot water can get absurdly hot and absolutely did burn my hand. Please dial it back, and get a faucet that is more easily adjustable.
