My husband and I ordered two signature cakes from Sugar Bee Sweets this past weekend. We chose a 2-tier lemon cake with the blueberry filling for the wedding cake, and a 1-tier chocolate cake with caramel buttercream and toffee crunch (with extra toffee pieces!) for the groom's cake. I have been purchasing pastries here for a few years, now, and everything purchased was consistently delicious and beautiful each time. Over the years, I have tried several of their seasonal lattes, most recently the honey iced latte, and I favor their groom’s cake slices, the espresso pie, the cinnamon rolls, the blueberry muffins, and the earl grey and lavender cupcakes. First off all we went to the Hive for a light lunch date. First time there and it was good! Next time we'll try some of their other offerings cause they sounded good also. Anyway sugar bee bakery was great as last time and the last time was soon after they opened!! The Dubai chocolate croissant so soft, airy and buttery and of course chocolately!!! If you like your pastry flaky/ crunchy then don't have it warmed but warmed was especially yummy!!!!
