We really like Don Mario's. They've become our go to for full service Mexican food. Excellent fajitas, large portions too. The combo plates are really good and there are 5 separate sauce options. Love the tortilla soup too. Salsa is first rate. From the owner on down, everyone here is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very clean as well.
I wish I had taken pictures. I had very low expectations because the customers look unseasoned and I am a beautifully seasoned. The service was great, I also wish to had gotten our servers name. My plate (Don Mario’s Enchiladas special) was delicious. I am picky when it comes to Mexican or TexMex because of the lack of flavor. The salsa had a very mild kick with great taste, food came out hot, and our drinks were tasty and strong, just like me.
Eh? The ambiance in this place is not great- fluorescent overhead lights- it literally looks like a retail Store that someone is cooking in. The food is ok- I ordered fajitas. the menu said $18 for chicken fajitas , they were decent but it was a pretty small portion- looked like a lunch size. Then when the check came they tried charging me $22. They did fix it- but that’s an insane amount of money for mediocre fajitas in a strip mall, I would have been better off going to papasitos...
