This place serves real catfish!!! All the other places like Crispy's, Lucy's, Lisa's, and any other fast food joint that says they're selling catfish is a lie!! Visited on a Saturday afternoon, no crowds and food was prompt. The catfish is white fish, it at least did have some flavor, my companion ordered the shrimp po'boy and stated that is appeared to be shrimp cut up and mixed w/ the lobster.
My wife and I have been going here once a month for years. She usually gets the fried shrimp and I get a grilled fish, recently mostly the salmon. Excellent sides especially grilled veggies and their spinach. Wish they still had their fried jalapeños. Also cold beer in frosted mugs. Reasonable prices, great food, funky talking bass New Orleans vibe, and great staff. Coupons available from the usual sources.
