“I’m literally MIND BLOWN with Estaban. This 19 yr old young man , took my order with the most friendliest personality & COOKED the food all his own then bagged it perfectly and offered help to my car. Like what a hardworking individual I’m genuinely beyond impressed .The food was delicious too like he honestly put this mexicqn mom to shame and I’m ok with it!I genuinely hope people try this place out. Definitely worth it .”
“Food was large portions and great flavor. Nate (our server), was attentive and on top of things. We asked for no onions on a dish and he followed that up with "would you like the salad with no onions?" He explained how entrees were prepared extremely well and offer options based on what we asked.”
“We love to come here a few times a month. Some items lack salt so as a heads up, I’d ask for some since it’s not at the tables.I love to get the Gyro Special spicy. It’s really freakin good. I also love the lentil soup (add salt and pepper).Service can be a little slow but friendly.”
“The service was great! The whole place is CLEAN! The pictures do not do justice because the food is even MORE AMAZING in person!!! The tea is strong how ever he made mine not as strong so it was perfect! Definitely recommend this place !!! Everything was delicious!”
“My wife and I have been eating at Istanbul grill about 2 times per month for several years. Everything on the menu is delicious. I will usually change my order every time, so I have been able to try almost everything they offer, and it's all great. The place is BYOB, so bring a bottle of your favorite wine with you.”
“If I'm looking for a healthy fresh and nutritious meal, I'm going here every time. It's better than most Mediterranean places in my area. I get the Shawarma that's priced at 10 bucks. My dad gets the lamb and my mother gets the chicken tikka. We love it.”
“The food here is very delicious. The service is impeccable. The guy was very nice and patient with my wife while our card was acting funny because we are from out of state. Did I mention that the food taste great definitely will have to come back to this place me and my wife are truck drivers and come into this part of Texas all the time. Luckily we were bobtail and were able to squeeze into a nice little spot outback”
“1. This place is a cozy, traditional Mediterranean-style restaurant. You can find various options for both meat and vegetarian dishes here. It's a small restaurant, but the owner's friendliness makes it very comfortable for you. When I told him that I don't eat meat, he immediately asked, "Do you eat carbs?" This is the first time that somebody has asked me about carbs, because 99% of people eat carbs.2. I had a salad and a dish of falafel, which were delicious, and it cost me $24.3. The downside of my experience was the price because this food in disposable dishes seems pricey.”
“We've eaten here many times and every time has been amazing. Great food, very delicious and super nice servers. Very attentive, each food item I've ordered here has always been well prepared. They have gained a repeated customer for life ?”
“The combination platter - was absolutely perfect! Spot on Mediterranean flavors - with the gyro meat carrying on better flavors than most other Gyro based Mediterranean restaurants (usually - I don’t pick up on rosemary when eating a Gyro). The Baklava was also a treat (when it’s this good - it’s usually home made). Also a surprise - Nehi soft drink offerings (including root beer!) had not had a Nehi in over a few decades! The food is also reasonably priced - a family dining experience here - should not break the bank.”
“We ordered chicken shawarma and chicken tawook. While the shawarma was a bit oily, it still had a good taste. However, the tawook consisted of plain chicken pieces with a mayo-like sauce, making it rather ordinary. Additionally, the fries were a bit too salty. The staff's behavior was friendly.”
“Serve yourself, seconds and thirds even! The food here is delicious and hot!. Great place to get a authentic Eastern Mediterranean meal. Hosts are friendly and helpful. The low atmosphere score is warranted by the feeling of uncleanliness. The seating area needs a good scrubbing. Tables are sticky and the floor needs mopped, in my opin. Really good Mediterranean!”
“I tried a sample that they were giving around the Walmart! I think it was the Tex-mex shawarma. So eventually I stopped by and the lady was very helpful in helping me understand and guiding my friend and I! The prices are good too!! Recommended”
“When I say the food was absolutely AMAZING! I can’t stress it ??♀️ I am a plant based eater and they had some many options for plant based, the impossible shawarma wrap was hands down THE BEST! And EJ was super helpful for it being my first time here, great customer service ( which is hard to come by these day) I had to come back the next day because I was craving it so bad. Come to Chop house gyro (:”
“Quaint single family owned restaurant that serves all you can eat buffet style Mediterranean food. The selection isn’t the biggest but the food quality was excellent. Went on a Sunday evening and they have a salad bar and protein bar with two types of basmati rice, three types of chicken, gyro meat and grilled veggies. They also have tea you can ask for that’s absolutely floral and heart warming free of charge. You can ask for a lamb shank for an extra fee of $12 and it’s huge and falls off the bone.Highly recommend their smoked rotisserie chicken, combination basmati rice, rice pudding, meatball/chickpea stew and cucumber yogurt sauce.OverallService 9/10Food 7/10Cleanliness 7/10”
“Tried this place for the first time and I will definitely be back. I had the chicken shawarma wrap. It was so flavorful and fresh. The service was also great. They asked my spice tolerance which I appreciated and made it to my liking. Y’all better come get one of these!”
“O.O I just realized, I came by after hours and they still cooked us our takeout! I am so sorry! They're so nice. Also, this chicken biriyani with their special mint sauce is amazing. My husband is loving his chicken curry and freshly grilled naan!”
“We ate at Istanbul Grill about 10 years ago on an infrequent visit to Texas. Ever since then, it has been the top-rated restaurant in Arlington every time I check. Recently, I had the opportunity to take my lovely bride back there a second time. They did not let me down. It is every bit as good as it was back then, if not better. The lamb was almost melt-in-my-mouth tender, moist and flavorful. Yet it was so mild that I almost mistook it for beef. The service was as good as the food. Our waitress was so graceful that I suspect she may be the matron of the establishment. She asked us if we wanted to take away our leftover flatbread. When we agreed to that, she brought more warm bread in a carry-out bag. My only regret was that it was too late in the evening to try the Turkish coffee. I hope it won't be 10 years before we do this again!”
“First time here to celebrate my birthday with my family who lives out of town. We were very curious, then a little skeptical, I must say, the atmosphere, was so comfortable and inviting it wasn't until they were closing that we realized it had been hours as to say we felt right at home. Good music! Great food! Good drinks! Hamza the manager was super nice; great hospitality!!! And our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable answering any question we had, shes the cute blonde with the cutest accent, Thresdria I want to say. Forgive me if I'm wrong. Good customer service. Will definitely go back and visit. That you Al-Amir for a nice evening and your gracious service. ✌️☺️?You won't leave disappointed.”
“My fiancé and I love coming here!! I’m obsessed with their baklava and their service is amazing! Their food brings you comfort but it’s also really healthy. I definitely recommend coming here to grab a bite or enjoy a good meal with your family.”
